Privacy and Security
Apple worked a lot in improving the privacy and security of the iPhone.
Now, the location data that you pass to apps is controlled where you can choose to grant an app access to your location once or anytime you use it.
You will receive notifications when an app is using your location in the background, so you can decide whether to update your permission.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth location privacy is also enhanced with new controls that help prevent apps from accessing your location without your consent while using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Apple did rebuilt the maps from the ground up with brand new map features, making the details for roads, beaches, parks, buildings etc.. more realistic.
You can now explore your environment now by looking around in a 360-degree view.
Your favorite locations can now be created as a list of places you visit often for quick, one-tap navigation.
Siri sounds more natural now, particularly while speaking longer phrases.
Incoming messages can now be read by Siri so you do not need to interrupt what you are doing.
Music, podcasts, audiobooks and radio can now be played by Siri.
Shortcuts with iOS 13 are even more powerful, enabling you to interact with your apps in a very conversational way.
The Shortcuts app is now built in and home for all your shortcuts.
