Get inspired with the Solo Pro wireless headphones. Every little detail of the Solo Pro is carefully thought out, all the way to the intuitive way to turn on or off the headphones by folding them. The ergonomic design makes the headphones comfortable to use for a long time and gives them an elegant style.

Active Noise Cancelling (ANC)

The headphones have active noise canceling for the first time on Beats on-ear design. Over-Ear Studio 3 Wireless was the first Beats to have ANC, and it's a welcome addition to its cheaper (but still expensive) Solo generation. Beats’ Pure ANC actively blocks external noise and uses real-time audio calibration to preserve clarity, range, and emotion, giving you the space you need to create and stay inspired. It continuously pinpoints external sounds to block while automatically responding to individual fit in real time, optimizing sound output to deliver a premium listening experience.

A practical feature called Transparency helps you stay aware of your surroundings. Let your headphones filter in outside sounds when you want to be able to hear your surroundings, when you cross the road, or hear messages on trains or flights, or talk to someone without taking off the headphones. Transparency naturally filters in more environmental and ambient noise while still maintaining incredible sound.

Just ask Siri

Beats Solo Pro features Apple's H1 chip that enables hands-free “Hey Siri” commands and easy connection to iPhones and iPads. It also means they let you use iOS 13's audio sharing feature with other W1 or H1 headphones like AirPods or Powerbeats Pro, or even the latest generation of Solo and Studio Wireless.

The battery life is stated at 22 hours with ANC or Transparency on and 40 hours without, which is impressive. Charging takes place over Lightning rather than the latest gen's micro USB, but what is disappointing is the shaft of the 3.5mm jack. On previous Beats on- or over-ear Beats, it was a useful way to quickly use a cord to connect to a headphone jack. No more - this is just Bluetooth.

Beats Solo Pro are available in black, ivory, gray, dark blue, light blue and red. We love the look of Dark Blue and apparently the colors were picked by Pharrell William. The Beats Solo Pros go on sale on October 30th for $299.95
