Sleeping difficulty

Many of us experience trouble sleeping from time to time. It can be because of stress, travel, illness, or other temporary interruptions to the normal routine. But if sleep problems are a regular occurrence and interfere with our daily life, it can lead to sleep disorder.

A sleep disorder is a condition that frequently affects your ability to get enough quality sleep. While it’s normal to once on a while experience difficulties sleeping, it’s not healthy to regularly have problems getting to sleep at night, to wake up feeling exhausted, or to feel tired during the day due to lack of sleep.

To help you sleep better, soothing white noise can be a great solution. It masks distracting sounds helping you achieve deep sleep and not be woken by extraneous noises in the night.

How does white noise works?

‘For the people who say it helps them sleep, white noise functions as a kind of anti-noise, says Joseph Ojile, M.D., medical director and chief executive officer of the Clayton Sleep Institute. It’s a redundant noise, something that distracts your brain but you don’t have to focus on’.

Why not fall asleep each night to the soothing sounds of a South American rainforest or a raging thunderstorm, It might work wonderfully for you. Whether there is a scientific reason proving that white soft sounds can lull us to sleep, or if white noise is like an aural placebo, the most important thing is that it provides rest and relaxation.
